A very warm welcome to Skirlaugh CE Primary School.

Our school is a very special place where children are at the heart of everything we do. We strive to create an environment where every child feels happy, safe and valued, enabling them to grow in confidence and develop a genuine love of learning.

We are proud to offer a rich and engaging curriculum that inspires curiosity, creativity and a sense of purpose. We encourage our children to approach all that they do with commitment and enthusiasm, taking pride in their efforts and aiming high in every aspect of school life. Alongside this, we nurture qualities of kindness, courage and respect, supporting children to become thoughtful, resilient and compassionate individuals.

There is a real sense of joy in our school. We believe that learning should be exciting and meaningful, and that children thrive when they feel inspired, supported and able to be themselves. Our dedicated staff work closely with families to ensure that every child feels a strong sense of belonging and is encouraged to be the very best version of themselves.
