Welcome to Skirlaugh Church of England Primary School

We are very proud of our school, the curriculum and learning activities we provide, and the experiences we give to children, where all are given opportunities to succeed. We provide a vibrant, positive learning environment with bright teaching areas and extensive outdoor facilities. Our expectations of the children are high and they are challenged in their learning to do their best.

Your child is unique and it is our responsibility to cater for their needs and help them to achieve their potential. We aim to develop the whole child as a learner, in both academic areas as well as socially. As we build upon the foundations of the Christian faith, we will raise awareness of the fact that everyone matters, of an understanding of right from wrong and valuing and respecting others.

We promote a positive partnership between home, school and community and we aim to build on skills and experiences when your child joins us. We look forward to working with you as you take an active and positive in

terest in what your child is doing at school.
